If you want to go far, go together.
Jesus was unique, and yet he almost always worked in the context of community. We think that, if community was Jesus’ preferred way of working, it ought to be ours too.
You don’t have to join a team to be part of The Sanctuary, but if you do sign up, we hope you’ll be accountable to your commitments. It won’t be a lot of time—maybe 2-3 hours per week—and we have to make that time count.
A final word: you don’t have to leave your local congregation to help with The Sanctuary. In fact, we’re happy if you stay connected locally! There’s plenty of room in God’s kingdom for all of us to serve in multiple places.
